Two volunteers with the Tulsa Regional Chapter of the American Red Cross will be headed to Wichita, Kansas on Wednesday to assist with Red Cross disaster operations there.
The pair are being sent due to a massive tornado which struck Kansas' biggest city this past weekend.
The Red Cross says the volunteers will join other Red Cross volunteers to meet one-on-one with residents who were impacted by the storm.
Earlier this week, six other Tulsa area volunteers deployed to Woodward to work with disaster-affected residents there.
