Authorities say a woman who was killed Monday in Pontotoc County has been identified as 51-year-old Machelle Epperly.

Epperly died after a severe thunderstorm destroyed her mobile home near Ada.

Epperly's husband, 54-year-old Rick Epperly was flown by medical helicopter to an Oklahoma City hospital. He is listed in critical condition.

Authorities say the Ada storm produced strong straight-line winds and were a part of a cluster of spring-like severe storms that rolled across the state Monday.

No tornado warnings were issued, but some of the storms were accompanied by strong, straight-line winds that officials say produced isolated pockets of damage.

The Associated Press contributed to this story.
