The Tulsa City Council has delayed consideration of a special event application for a PETA demonstration called "Vegans Make Better Lovers."

The decision to continue the discussion came on the recommendation of the Council Attorney, who said he needed more time to answer their questions about the demonstration.

Read The Application

Councilors had asked questions about the proposed display. The application describes a kissing couple in their underwear, on a full size inflatable mattress on a sidewalk at 5th and Main.

An attorney for the council advised them the street closing was lawfully applied for, however the event could possibly violate ordinances on outraging public decency.

The council will continue the discussion Tuesday.
