Oral Roberts' Daughter Writes Book About Her Father

Roberta Roberts-Potts has a new book out chronicling the amazing journey of her father.

It covers everything from Oral Roberts' humble beginnings in Pontotoc County to building what some call "God's University."

She told folks at ORU's chapel service Wednesday that despite his being a household name there is a lot people don't know about Oral Roberts.

"I know that Oral Roberts' perception of God was that God was this big, huge creature, this thing in the sky that couldn't wait to knock you down if you did something wrong," Roberts-Potts said.

In her new book, "My Dad, Oral Roberts", Roberts-Potts shares some of the most difficult times in her father's life, including the turning point when he accepted God and began down a path that would change lives. That includes his mission to build Oral Roberts University.
