A whole bunch of baby supplies will soon be headed for Africa, thanks to the students at ORU's nursing program.
The idea for the "Baby shower for Ghana," happened while students were visiting the country on a mission trip last year.
Wednesday, the program collected donations from folks around Green Country, and next week they plan to take all those supplies with them on a trip back to Africa.
"One of the big visions of Oral Roberts University is to send people throughout the whole world to make an impact, make a difference and show them the love of God," said student Matthew Ortiz. "Being nursing majors we have a unique opportunity to do that for people."
