Tulsa Man Charged With Selling Phony Health Insurance

A Tulsa man was charged Wednesday with selling phony health insurance. The Attorney General says Terry McCrackin sold policies to as many as 1,300.

Investigators say he alone decided how much to charge customers and which claims he would pay.

The Insurance Commissioner found some customers had paid tens-of-thousands of dollars for insurance that was slow to pay claims or failed to pay them at all.
