Tulsa Fire investigators say two vacant homes that caught fire minutes from each other Monday have been ruled arson.

The first fire was reported at 5:30 p.m. in the 2600 block of East Virgin Street. Just 15 minutes later, a second fire was called in. The second arson occurred in the 600 block of East 51st Place North.

Crews working the Virgin Street fire called in a Hazmat team because several meth lab related materials were found. Investigators don't know if the items were dumped at the home or from a previous lab at that location.

Investigators say both fires were intentionally set and believe are directly related to each other. No one was injured in either fires.

These latest two arsons are in the same area of town where investigators have been looking into arson cases over the past several months.
