City Of Catoosa Hires New Police Chief

The city of Catoosa has a new police chief. City manager Leroy Alsup announced Monday, Kevin McKim will be the chief effective January 3, 2012.

Kevin McKim is currently the campus police chief for Catoosa Public Schools. He was hired by the school district in 1998 as director of safety and security.

He is also a reserve Catoosa Police officer.

McKim takes over for Cliff Arneecher who resigned the job in September.

Alsup says a city selection advisory committee recommended McKim for the job.
