Tulsa Man Shot Through Apartment Door

A Tulsa man going to answer his front door is in very serious condition after being shot several times, according to police.

Sergeant Thomas Bell said a resident of an apartment complex at 5200 E. 47th Street heard a knock at his door at about 11 p.m. Saturday. Someone fired through the closed door as the victim approached.

The wounded did not actually see the suspects, and no witnesses to the shooting were located.

The victim, who is about 25 years old, was taken to a nearby hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.
