TULSA, Oklahoma — Oral Roberts University announced it spring baseball schedule this week and the action starts Feb. 17 on the road against Baylor.
"It's a really good schedule," Said Head Coach Rob Walton, "having eight games in a row at home will be nice, and scheduling top-ten programs like Cal State Fullerton and Oklahoma will help keep our RPI where it needs to be and give us an opportunity to get better. I am excited about this year's team, and the schedule sets us up to hopefully make a run at the end."
Other highlighted matchups include games against Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisville, Cal State Fullerton and Missouri State.
The Golden Eagles will open the season with a three-game series against Baylor starting Friday, Feb. 17 before an eight game homestand against Eastern Michigan, Wichita State and Alcorn State.
Other home games include a rematch of the NCAA tournament regional against Oklahoma on April 17, and a two game stand against Missouri State on March 15-16.

The Summit League opener will also be held at J.L. Johnson Stadium against Oakland on April 6-8.
The Golden Eagles finished 2011 with a 39-22 record and their 14th consecutive conference championships. ORU went 3-2 in the NCAA tournament, eliminating no.1 seed TCU and no.2 seed Oklahoma before falling to Dallas Baptist in the Regional Final.
The Golden Eagles are returning four position players and two starting pitchers from 2011, including Summit League Newcomer of the Year and Pitcher of the Year Alex Gonzalez.
