I'm running a little late this morning regarding the inter-office schedule.
I'll be very brief.
Windy and warm conditions are likely today with highs in the mid 80s. South winds will be strong from 15 to 35 mph and the gusty winds will increase the fire danger across the state today.
The big system to our west will spread some clouds back over the region today with mostly cloudy conditions expected across central and western Ok with partly sunny conditions across Eastern OK.
A few showers and storms would be possible tonight across far western OK but not in our area.
Our better chances for showers and storms may hold off until late Sunday night or Monday. The ridge of high pressure to our east may still be close enough to keep the system just west our area through Sunday. The upper air flow will also become parallel with the surface boundary this weekend also helping to keep the bulk of the system to our west.
Another system will be nearing the area Wednesday with pleasant fall air following Thursday into next weekend.
