Broken Arrow, Jenks Sound Sirens At Noon Sunday For 9/11 Victims

The Cities of Broken Arrow and Jenks joined in with the National Moment of Remembrance at noon Sunday, September 11 by sounding emergency sirens.

BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -- The City of Broken Arrow participated in the national "Stop and Remember" campaign for the victims of the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001.

The City participated in a moment of remembrance by sounding the town's emergency sirens at noon.

Jenks also sounded their emergency sirens at noon Sunday.

On July 22, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed a resolution established a National Moment of Remembrance at noon on September 11, 2011, to memorialize the 10-year anniversary of the terrorist attacks with the ringing of bells and sounding of sirens.

There was also one minute of reflection.
