TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa man is in the county jail and an unidentified female passenger was hospitalized after the man rolled an SUV while fleeing after a burglary in south Tulsa, according to police.

Police identified the suspect as Nicholas Jones, 28.

Tulsa Police say an employee at Logan's Steakhouse in the 9000 block of East 71st Street spotted Jones breaking into his car early Wednesday morning.

Police say the victim confronted Jones who got out of the victim's car and drove off in an SUV.  The victim followed him and called police.

An officer saw the SUV run a red light near 71st and Memorial but then lost sight of it.  The victim found the SUV after it crashed in a neighborhood.

Police say they found stolen items in the vehicle.

Jones was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of second degree burglary, possession of stolen property and DUI.  The woman was treated and released.
