JENKS, Oklahoma – There are only a handful of teams that come into every season and every game with a constant target on their backs.
Without a doubt, the Jenks Trojans are one of those teams.
Even though Jenks is going through a couple of transitions with player personnel, there's no question they will still be one of the teams to beat and seeking out a state title at the end of the season.
The Trojans held a three-way race for the quarterback spot to start the preseason, looking to replace Sawyer Kollmorgen.
But one place the Trojans certainly have a solid starter at is running back.
OU commit Alex Ross is one of the top players in the state regardless of position, and has shown in the preseason he is nearly impossible to stop when he is on top of his game.
News On 6 was at a recent Jenks practice to see how the Trojans are progressing heading into the season opener.
