Midwest City Wins Titan Classic, Stays Undefeated
Lady Bombers pulled away with a 56-47 victory against Del City.

OKLAHOMA CITY – The top ranked Midwest City girls held off rival Del City to remain undefeated and win the Titan Classic Championship, 56-47.
The Lady Bombers were in unfamiliar territory in the first half, as Del City went on an 8-0 run to start the game.
Del City led most of the first half, and Midwest City took its first lead of the game with less than two minutes left in the second quarter. But a Del City 3 at the buzzer gave the Lady Eagles a 25-21 lead at the break.
Midwest City went on an 8-0 run of its own to start the second half and took the lead for good. Del City kept it close in the third and Midwest City led 37-34 at the end of the third.
But in the fourth, the Lady Bombers would get some breathing room, making a couple of big runs to hold off the Lady Eagles and seal the victory.
Ashley Clark led the Lady Bombers with 20 and was also was the Tournament MVP. Midwest City's Adrianna White was selected to the Titan Classic All-Tournament team.
Dionna Collins, Rukiya Turner, and Mariah Jackson all finished with 12 for Del City. Collins also received All-Tournament honors.
