Sheppard Carries Heritage Hall Chargers Past Spiro

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Sterling Sheppard put the team on his back and led the Heritage Hall Chargers to a 49-30 win over the Spiro Bulldogs to advance to the Class 3A Semifinals.

He wasted no time getting onto the board. On the Chargers’ first play quarterback Cooper Cloud hit Sheppard for a 63-yard score. That was the first of four in the first half to take a 35-14 lead at halftime.

Sheppard tacked on one late to take, giving the Chargers a 49-14 lead before leaving the game.

The Chargers (13-0) will now take on the Bethany Bronchos (10-3) in a rematch of a Week 9 district matchup that Heritage Hall won 14-7.
