TULSA, Oklahoma – The Jenks Trojans completed an undefeated regular season Friday with a 38-14 rout of the Norman Tigers.
Both offenses started slow, but Jenks (10-0, 7-0) quickly fixed that. Sawyer Kollmorgen started the scoring with a 60-yard touchdown pass, and added a 40-yard touchdown later in the first half to give Jenks a 14-0 lead.
The Trojans added a field goal to go up 17-0 with time ticking away in the first half, but Norman (8-2, 5-2) got on the board with a 31-yard touchdown run by Donovan Roberts with less than one minute left in the half.
Jenks immediately responded by running back the ensuing kickoff for another touchdown and taking a 24-7 lead into halftime. Norman never threatened again.
The win clinched a first-place finish for Jenks, which will host Bixby in the first round of the playoffs. Norman finished with a No. 3 seed and will travel to play Owasso in the first round.
