MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma -- After having their win streak halted by Guthrie, the Carl Albert Titans topped the Ada Cougars 55-12 Friday.
The win keeps Carl Albert (6-2, 4-1) in contention for the top spot in the district, but would need help since Guthrie owns the tiebreaker in the matchup. The Titans will try to keep jockeying for a district title next week on the road against Deer Creek.
Ada (4-4, 3-2) will try to rebound next Friday at home against the Noble Bears to try to stay in the playoff race.
