Phone Lines Up And Running At Nowata County Sheriff's Office

NOWATA COUNTY, Oklahoma – Phone lines are back up and running at the Nowata County Sheriff's office. 

The Nowata County Sheriff's office said a paperwork bungle caused the phone company to cancel service Monday afternoon. 

The Nowata County Commissioners office said the phone lines were fixed Tuesday afternoon.

While the lines were down, anyone with emergency had to call a deputy's cell phone.
