The victim's two daughters, a 13-year-old, and a two-year-old, were home at the time, but were not hurt.

"This is the worst beating I've seen in the 15 plus years I've been on," Corporal Dan Miller said of the crime.

A warrant has been issued for Bowie's arrest.
