NORMAN, Oklahoma -- Sources confirm to Oklahoma Sports that Sierra Junior College center Casey Arent has verbally committed to play for the Oklahoma Sooners for the 2011-2012 season.

The 6-foot-10 inch, 240-pounder becomes the third transfer for Lon Kruger in this current recruiting class, joining Cam Grooms and Amath M’Baye to add instant experience to the team.

As a sophomore with Sierra JuCo, Arent averaged 19 points and 11 rebounds per contest and will join OU with two years of eligibility.
