OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma Sooners will once again hold the annual “Meet the Sooners Day,” giving fans the opportunity to meet the players and have memorabilia signed.
This year’s event will be held August 6 at the rugby practice fields located west of the Lloyd Noble Center. Gates will be open at 10 a.m. for Sooner Kids Club members, followed by the general public at 10:30 a.m.
You can sign your child up for the Sooner Kids Club, allowing them free admission to several OU athletic events, opportunities to meet their favorite players and a special surprise on their birthday.
Admission to Meet the Sooners Day is free, and fans are encouraged to bring an item for autograph.
While more than 14,000 fans attended last year’s event, some were frustrated after being turned away at the end of the day. The lines were long and slow-moving, so Sooner fans are advised to get in live early this year.
