STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma State Cowgirls have not lost a game since November and continued to roll against Kansas State at home, dropping the Wildcats 66-56.
Senior guard Andrea Riley has led the way for the Cowgirls, scoring a game- high 31 points against the Wildcats, her third straight game with 30 or more points. Riley took 33 shots on the night, more than all of her teammates combined.
Tegan Cunningham did her part, scoring 10 points and grabbing eight boards in the winning effort in Stillwater.
The Wildcats couldn’t compete with the OSU offensive onslaught. Their leading scorer, Kari Kincaid, shot 6-of-10 and 4-of-8 from 3-point range on her way to scoring 16 points.
Despite the win and Riley’s gaudy offensive output, Oklahoma State shot poorly all night, and ended the game shooting a meager 39 percent from the floor and 23.5 percent from behind the arc.
The Cowgirls have four days to rest up before the Texas Longhorns visit Stillwater Jan. 20.
