TULSA, Oklahoma -- A group of Tulsa seniors rallied at our state capitol Monday. They want to tell state lawmakers "There's no place like home."

We were there as they loaded the busses to head to Oklahoma City. Legislators have to cut more than $500-million from the budget this year.

So seniors are worried that their home and community services could disappear.

"These seniors really care. They want choices they want to be able to age their own home when their able," said Laura Kenny, Life Senior Services CEO.

150 seniors participated. Organizers say home services and community care are less expensive than nursing homes.

So it the long run it's a wise investment for our taxpayers.
