TULSA, Oklahoma -- Green Country veterans are getting help landing jobs in the aerospace industry.
The City of Tulsa is working with American Airlines and Spirit Aerosystems to help find jobs for veterans.
Two upcoming job fairs at the Workforce Oklahoma Eastgate Center will be geared towards veterans.
American Airlines held a career Monday. Spirit Aerosystems will hold theirs May 11, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The companies are looking to fill several positions from assemblers to engineers.
"We're glad to have the opportunity to help match veterans with job openings at two of Tulsa's most valued employers," said Mayor Bartlett in a news release.
Mayor Bartlett said area schools are also working with the industry to place qualified employees.
