Homeless Person May Have Sparked Fire That Destroyed Vacant Skiatook Homes

Skiatook Fire officials say there may have been homeless people living under the mobile home and that they could have started the fire.

SKIATOOK, Oklahoma -- Fire destroyed a vacant house and vacant mobile home on the same lot early Friday morning. 

Skiatook firefighters responded to the incident just after 3 a.m. but by the time they arrived, both structures were fully involved.   

The lot is located at Country Road and Stockman on the Osage County side of the community of Skiatook. 

Skiatook Fire officials say there may have been homeless people living under the mobile home and that they could have started the fire. 

The Osage County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
