TULSA, Oklahoma – Wendy Taylor Gregory will serve as the director of the Tulsa office of the Governor of Oklahoma, Mary Fallin's office announced Tuesday.
Taylor will oversee operations at the Tulsa office as well as represent the Governor-elect at events across northeast Oklahoma.
"It's important to me to stay connected to Tulsa and northeast Oklahoma as we work together to get our state back on track," Fallin said in a statement Tuesday. "I know Wendy is deeply committed to the future of Tulsa and all of Oklahoma and I'm glad to have her on our team.
Gregory most recently worked at the Tulsa Metro Chamber.
"I'm honored to have the opportunity to work for Governor-elect Fallin in her Tulsa office," she said. "I know the governor-elect is committed to bringing more jobs and opportunities to Tulsa, northeast Oklahoma and the rest of our state and I'm ready to help her make that happen."
Gregory will move into her new position January 10th.
