JENKS, OK -- The Oklahoma Aquarium is making room for its "Extreme Fishes Exhibit". They kicked off construction with a wall smashing Wednesday.
The Aquarium says when it's all done it's going to be really cool.
"It will be floor to ceiling and kids will be able to crawl through it and literally pop their heads up into the water without even getting wet," said Teri Bowers.
The new exhibit will include a variety of species from the Amazon -- including the largest freshwater fish in the world. The Arapaima can grow to almost 15 feet long and weight some 500 pounds!
Construction is expected to take about a year.
