TULSA, OK -- It's your chance to get rid of your old junk, for free.
The Quarry Landfill is hosting Free Landfill Days Saturday, April 17th, and Sunday, April 18th.
It's open for Tulsa residents only.
The landfill will take anything except tires, air conditioners, and refrigerators.
Participants must show a City of Tulsa utility bill or a driver's license with an address within the Tulsa city limits in order to be admitted to the landfill.
The landfill is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
And the Metropolitan Environmental Trust is helping you get rid of old chemicals, like pesticides, fertilizers, or cooking oil.
You can also donate your old batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, and prescription medications.
The MET's pollutant collection is happening at Tulsa's Expo Square Saturday, April 17th, and Sunday, April 18th, from 10 am. to 3 p.m.
