Woman In Fatal Tulsa County Car Crash Identified

TULSA COUNTY -- One person is dead following a crash at the intersection of State Highway 97 and 61^st Street South between Sand Springs and Sapulpa. 

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Tulsan Mary Lou Turvey, 77, was killed after she  pulled her car into the path of a northbound pickup truck shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday. 

Troopers say Turvey was westbound on 61st Street South and had stopped before entering the intersection.

She was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Sapulpa resident Letha D. Mayberry, 60, the driver of the northbound pickup truck was not seriously injured.
