Arrest Made In Connection To September 2009 Tulsa Shooting Death

TULSA, OK -- A person of interest has been arrested in connection to the September 2009 shooting death of a Tulsa man.

The Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force arrested Derrick Deondrey Horner Saturday on a complaint of first-degree murder. He was arrested at the Pepper Tree Apartments, located at 77th and South Yale. They say Horner was found hiding in a basement closet.

Officers were searching for Derrick Deondrey Horner in connection to the shooting death of Kebron Sanders. Derrick Deondrey Horner was a known associate of Sanders, according to officers.

Officers say Sanders was found dead on September 2, 2009 of multiple gunshot wounds at a residence in the 6800 block of South Lewis Avenue.
