OWASSO, OK -- A flying tribute to nearly three dozen fallen Marines landed in Owasso Wednesday so kids could get a hands-on history lesson.

The Sikorsky chopper flew in missions during Vietnam and has the bullet holes to prove it.

There's a plaque on the door bearing the names of 33 Marines who made the ultimate sacrifice.

The old chopper was originally bought for parts, but when the owner discovered the log book and learned about her storied past, he decided to turn it into a flying memorial.
