Body Recovered From Arkansas River

The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office has recovered a body from the Arkansas River.

BIXBY, OK -- The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office has recovered a body from the Arkansas River.

Reports indicate that the body is that of a middle-aged man, and that some decomposition has taken place indicating that the body has been there for some time.

The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office has called in the medical examiner to determine the cause of death.

The body was discovered at about 3:30 Tuesday afternoon near 151st and Mingo. Deputies say the body was spotted by two people who were walking along the river.
