MAJOR COUNTY -- Fires flare back up in Major County near Chester in the northwestern part of the state.

The flames have already destroyed three homes, several barns and singed livestock.

Fire has been sweeping over the area for three days now.

Crews say the triple-digit temperatures aren't helping. Three firefighters have been treated for heat exhaustion.

"About every person's there for a number of hours and they're just completely exhausted to the point where it's totally unsafe for them to be back on the fire grounds," said Asst. Chief Eric Harlow, Deer Creek Fire Department.

Fire crews are still working to get the fire under control. They say the fire keeps jumping from place to place, so they're not sure how many acres have burned.
