Fundraiser To Benefit Murdered Weleetka Girls

WELEETKA, OK -- Weleetka residents are hoping to raise some serious cash on Sunday.

The murders of 13-year-old Taylor Paschal-Placker and 11-year-old Skyla Jade Whitaker have hit the tight-knit community hard.

A fundraiser will be held Sunday started at 1:00 p.m. at Marvin's Place, located at 9720 Hornbeam Road in Henryetta.

The event will include an auction, barbeque and a variety of vendors.

Plates will be $5.00 for the barbeque.

Money raised will go toward the reward fund to catch the killer.

The reward fund is at $36,000 right now, but the community hopes more money will encourage someone to come forward with information.
