TULSA, OK -- A familiar face is back in the running for Tulsa City Council.
Maria Barnes held a kickoff party Sunday to announce that she will run for her former position as city councilor for District 4.
"We need someone at City Hall who are going to listen to the people in this city and in District 4 and be a voice for them," Barnes said.
Barnes was barely beat out in last year's race against current councilor Eric Gomez, losing by only 164 votes.
