TU Women Lose To Memphis

TULSA, OK -- The TU women's basketball couldn't hold onto a double-digit lead and fell 65-60 to Memphis on Sunday.

TU fell to 6-18 on the season and 2-10 in Conference USA.

Larrissa Williams led the team with 24 points and 10 rebounds, her 11^th double-double of the season.

The Golden Hurricane jumped out to an 11-point lead early and led 28-21 at halftime.

In the second half, Memphis tied the game at 35 with 14:18 left and took the lead for good several minutes later.

Paris Leonard and Alex Winchell scored 14 points for Memphis.

Tulsa will return to action 7 p.m. Friday at Rice.
