WELEETKA, OK -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Tulsa man has been killed while trying to remove a piece of heavy machinery from a county road.
Troopers say 41-year-old Lucio Reyes died Monday in the accident in Okfuskee County about two miles west of Weleetka.
Investigators say workers were trying to remove a boom from a crane to repair it when the boom came loose and pinned Reyes underneath.
He died of massive head and trunk injuries.
