Woman In Critical Condition Following Tulsa Crash

TULSA, OK - A woman is in critical condition at a local hospital after the SUV she was riding in crashed. The driver was arrested for DUI.

Officers with the Tulsa Police Department say the driver of the SUV lost control on Highway 1-69 near the Broken Arrow Expressway overnight on Sunday.

Police say the vehicle rolled down an embankment, crushing the top and trapping the driver and passenger inside.

Rescue workers were able to free both of them.

Officers say the woman, a 26-year-old, was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The driver was okay, but arrested for DUI and driving with a suspended license.
