TULSA, OK -- Macy's has announced it will close 11 under-performing stores in 9 different states including one in Oklahoma.
The closings will affect 960 employees.
According to a news release, the Macy's Store at the Crossroads Mall in Oklahoma City will be closed.
Other cities affected include Los Angeles, West Palm Beach, Nashville and St. Louis.
The news comes as Macy's says its December sales fell 4 percent.
The two Macy's stores in Tulsa will remain open. The stores are located in Promenade Mall and Woodland Hills Mall.
