Tulsa Bank Robber Asks For Specific Amount

Tulsa Police have released a picture of a suspect who robbed a bank in the 2000 block of East 21st Street Thursday morning.

TULSA, OK -- Police have released a picture of a suspect who robbed a bank Thursday morning.

Police say the robbery happened at 9:20 a.m. at the Valley National Bank at 2020 East 21st.

The suspect entered the bank, gave a teller a note demanding a certain amount of cash.  No gun was seen and the teller complied with the robber's request.  Police say the suspect fled the bank on foot.

Tulsa Police Sgt. Dave Walker describes what happened inside the bank.

The suspect is described 5-foot-9, weighing between 160 to 170 pounds.  He wore a baseball cap, a brown jacket and blue jeans. 

No one was hurt in the robbery.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
