Tulsa Firefighter Arrested On Vandalism Complaint

A Tulsa firefighter is behind bars after his arrest Thursday night in connection with damages to a south Tulsa fire station.

TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa firefighter is behind bars after his arrest Thursday night in connection with damages to a south Tulsa fire station.

Tulsa Fire Captain Michael Baker says firefighter Tracy Perrin was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of malicious injury to property.

On Thursday morning, fire officials discovered the damage to fire station #32 at 6010 E. 91st Street.

Upon investigation by Tulsa Police, Fire Captain Michael Baker says a sequence of events lead police officers to Perrin's home where they found a vehicle that Perrin allegedly used to damage the fire station's bay doors.

Damage is estimated at $50,000.

Baker says Perrin has been placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation by the Tulsa Fire Department.
