Temperatures are to begin falling in parts of Oklahoma as a cold front makes its way into the state from the northwest.

The National Weather Service said Friday night would be cloudy and windy with possible showers or thunderstorms in eastern Oklahoma and lows ranging from the mid 20s in the Panhandle to the lower 60s in the east.

Saturday is to be windy with continued scattered showers in eastern sections and highs from around 40 degrees in the Panhandle to the mid 60s in the southeast, but temperatures will be falling during the day.

Skies are to become clear Sunday with afternoon highs reaching the 50s statewide while overnight lows are to fall to the mid teens in the Panhandle to the mid 30s in the southeastern corner of the state.
