Driver Injured After Semi Strikes Car

TULSA, OK -- An overnight traffic accident on a Tulsa Interstate highway sends one woman to a Tulsa hospital.   

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the driver of a semi was trying to change lanes on I-244 near Garnett when he struck a car. 

The car spun out of control in front of the semi and came to rest in the median. 

A mother and daughter were inside the car.  The mother was taken to a Tulsa hospital with minor injuries. 

OHP troopers issue a citation to the driver of the truck.
