Former Creek Co. Judge Facing New Charges

TULSA, OK -- DUI charges have been filed against former Creek County Judge Donald Thompson.

Earlier this month, Thompson was pulled over in rural Tulsa County on a DUI complaint and booked into jail.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the trooper noticed Thompson's damaged vehicle stopped on the shoulder of the Creek Turnpike. The trooper says Thompson had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes and a strong odor of alcohol on his breath.

Thompson was convicted in 2006 of indecent exposure and sentenced to four years in prison.

He was released from prison in April.
