Tulsa Teen Heads Back To Court On Murder Charge

TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa teenager charged with killing a 13-year-old girl will stand trial as a youthful offender. 

The Tulsa County DA's Office wanted to charge 15-year-old Montoya Harris as an adult, but a judge says she will be tried as a youthful offender. 

Harris is charged with the stabbing death of Sydney Daily back in March.

On Monday, a judge set December 15 as the date for the trial to move to the Tulsa County District Court. 

Last week, a state appeals court sided with the judge that Harris should be tried as a youthful offender.
