After 35 years of braving the Oklahoma weather and early mornings, a long-time Jenks crossing guard is hanging up her stop sign.

Jenks Public Schools honored Mary Crosslin on Tuesday for her dedication to the district and students for more than three decades.  She says she figures since she was hired in September, she'd leave in September.

"Every day was wonderful, I was in the rain, flood waters, ice and snow, everything.  To me, it was the most wonderful job in the world," said Mary Crosslin.

Crosslin says she'll spend her free time caring for her grandchildren and her new great grandbaby.
