New Backer For Youth Center

The Community Foundation stepped up with a check to fill the gap left by SemGroup's bankruptcy.

A major donation arrives for youth on Tulsa's north side. The Christian Ministers Alliance plans to build a youth center and daycare at the corner of Lewis and Apache.

SemGroup had said it would donate $25,000 to the project, but when the company went bankrupt, leaders had to find a new source. The Community Foundation stepped up with a check to fill the gap in the group's fundraising efforts.

Groundbreaking for the center is set for Sunday.
