Now that so many people are addicted to prescription pain killers, pharmacies have become dangerous places to work. News On 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright reports police in two Green Country towns are looking for a man who's targeting May's Drug stores and they need your help.
The most recent robbery happened on June 9th at 8 p.m. at the May's Drug store at 1330 East Skelly Drive. The man walked up to the counter and handed over a note with his instructions, got what he wanted and left. They don't believe this is his first go-round.
"We have an additional robbery at the May's in Sapulpa from May 27th and we believe the two armed robberies are related," said TPD Officer Jason Willingham
Witnesses say the man is a white male, six-feet tall, 220 pounds, around 40 years old. He was wearing a dusk mask, a straw cowboy hat and glasses. Despite the disguise, they think someone will recognize him.
"The suspect has a large mole or birthmark on the side of his head that is pretty outstanding, that should be recognizable for most people," said Officer Willingham.
Anyone with information can call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS. If your tip leads to an arrest, the Citizens Crime Commission will pay you a cash reward.
