New witnesses have offered key information about what they saw and heard around the time of the murders of two young girls in Okfuskee County.  News On 6 anchor Latoya Silmon reports investigators have developed a sketch of a person of interest they want to speak with about the shootings.

Friday was day six in the case that has the world talking.  The attention is prompting new leads.  They've poured in by the hundreds, and one team of investigators is responsible for sifting through all of them.

The investigators arrive early and stay late.

Investigators from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, the Okfuskee County Sheriff's Office and the District Attorney's office are combing through every single lead.

"We have several witnesses that have come forward who actually heard the gunshots, and what that does it gives us a better timeline of what happened out there.  That's very helpful to us," said Jessica Brown with the state crime lab.

And now, a composite drawing has been developed of a person of interest.  Several other witnesses say they saw him near the crime scene around the time Skyla Whitaker and Taylor Pashcal-Placker were killed.

"We just want to talk to him.  We think he might have seen something that can help us resolve this case," said OSBI's Jessica Brown.

OSBI says the man is part Native American.   He's about 35 years old and 6 feet tall with mid-length hair.  They say he was in a white Chevy or Ford single cab pickup with a narrow chrome strip down the side with Oklahoma plates.

Investigators say those are key clues that may put them one step closer to catching a killer.

"We're going to find them.  It's just a matter of time," said OSBI's Jessica Brown.

If you know anything about the person in the sketch or have information about this case, investigators urge you to report it immediately.  They say it doesn't matter how small the information may appear to be.
